Water World

Water World is a stunt show based off of the 1995 post-apocalyptic blockbuster movie. This is an attraction you do not want to miss during your day at Universal. Showtimes are typically in the middle of the day, which is a great time to take a break but still have something fun to do.

Seating is first come, first serve, but if you have an Express Pass for the day, you can line up in a different area that allows you to enter the theater first for first- choice seating. The Express Pass seating really only gives you about a 2-minute or less head start on the general crowds though, so make sure you are waiting in the queue a few minutes before they are set to open the ampitheatre. For best viewing, we suggest sitting in the middle section if possible, and far enough back that you are not in the splash zone. Note: If you are in the splash zone you WILL get wet. Not just a little wet, you have a chance to be COMPLETELY soaked, so be very sure you want to get wet if you sit in that section.

This show features water stunts, dives, explosions, hand to hand combat, and an actual plane crash! If you love the magic of movies with a lot of stunt work and action, this show is perfect for you. This experience is family-friendly, but does have intense moments such as shooting, explosions, people being captured, etc.

You can bring food and drinks into the theater. We had a very successful snack time with a giant donut from Lard Lad’s and drinks all around.
