Where to get drinks at Disneyland

Did you know Disneyland used to be a DRY park? Only in recent years have they added alcohol to their sit down restaurants in Disneyland and now you can even walk around with a drink while in DCA! We are here to help you find all the places you can snag a delicious adult beverage while at Disneyland!

Disneyland:

The only places to get drinks in Disneyland are sit down restaurants that require a reservation.

-Oga’s Cantina: This is the only true bar vibe in Disneyland. However, it is STILL family friendly and there are fun drinks for everyone. This location typically needs a reservation, but there is also a walk up list if you’d like to try to get in day of.

-Blue Bayou: This fun restaurant is a hard one to snag, so be sure to be watching for a reservation exactly 60 days before you would like to dine, as early as 6AM to see if you can’t snag a spot. There is a walk up option, but it isn’t always available especially for big parties. You can expect Wines, Draft Beer, and Cocktails to pair with the finest dining in Disneyland.

-Cafe Orleans: This restaurant is an easier to get in to version of Blue Bayou. They have similar drink options, although not quite as extensive of a menu.

-Carnation Cafe: This is the earliest reservation you can grab a drink in Disneyland as they are open for breakfast. Grab a morning mimosa, or one of their signature cocktails. They also feature wines and craft beers.

-River Belle Terrace: Open for Brunch and Dinner, you can easily get this dining reservation. You can expect wines, cocktails, and beers.

California Adventure:

California Adventure has very different rules when it comes to alcohol. Because of all the food fests and booths, you are allowed to walk around and wait in line with drinks in hand.

Where to get drinks?:

The answer is, almost anywhere!

Sit down restaurants, quick service, and smaller carts alike almost all have some option available.

Our top 3 favorite options with variety.

-Lamplight Lounge: (Reservation or walk up list required. If you would just like a drink and everyone in your party is over 21 they can seat you at the bar or at Boardwalk Dining)

-Pym’s Tasting Lab: This option is really fun as it’s more experience based and has more variety of cocktails.

-Hollywood Lounge: This location has a ton of different, fun options you won’t find in other place around the park and has a ton of options.

Downtown Disney:

Downtown Disney has a ton of variety when it comes to drinks. Any sit down restaurant you go to will have a variety of options to choose from, however, you cannot wander with open containers. Alcohol must be consumed on the property of the restaurant you got it from.

All of the Disney property hotels also have bars inside them where you can grab a drink even if you aren’t a hotel guest.
