Disability Access Services Pass (DAS Pass)

Disneyland is a magical place where dreams come true for people of all ages.  However, for guests with disabilities, navigating crowds and long wait times can present challenges.  To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the magic of Disneyland, the park offers the Disability Access Pass or (DAS Pass)

What is the Disability Access Pass at Disneyland?

The Disability Access Pass is a service provided by Disneyland that allows guests with disabilities to obtain a return time for attractions that will allow them to experience them with little or no wait time.  It is designed to help individuals who are unable to tolerated extended wait times due to a physical or cognitive disability.  This pass is provided at no additional cost to the guest.

How to acquire a Disability Access Pass at Disneyland:
To obtain a DAS Pass the guest must visit Guest Relations or the City Hall at Disneyland or Disney California to speak to a cast member.  As of recent months, eligible guests can now pre-register for DAS Pass virtually with a Cast Member, using a live video chat.  During the registration chat, you will be able to work with a Cast Member to book up to 2 one-hour return windows for select experiences--subject to availability--using the new DAS Advance planning option.  This is in addition to the normal benefits of the DAS program.

Please note that you may pre-register as soon as 30 days in advance of a park visit, but no less than 2 days before arrival.  All park visits must be within 30 to 2 days of the Live Chat.  If you don't pre-regsister you must visit the Guest Relations or the City Hall at Disneyland or Disney California Adventure and speak to a cast member to obtain a DAS Pass

How to use the Disability Access Pass at Disneyland:

Once a guest has their DAS card, they can approach any guest relations desk and ask for a return time. More recently, the Disneyland App has also made it possible for those registered in the DAS program (and their party members) to make return time selections right from their mobile device (much like Genie+ selections ) during the day of a park visit.  Any member of a DAS party can obtain a return time for the whole party, but the registered guest using DAS must be present with the DAS return time is redeemed.  Return times do not expire, but a party can only hold one active return time.

When you scan in at your return time, you will either be escorted to an alternate entrance to accommodate necessary disabilities, or you will be ushered into the Lightning Lane for a shorter wait time than those in the Standby Queue.

As you can see, the Disability Access Pass at Disneyland is an important service that allows guests with disabilities to experience the magic of Disneyland with little or no wait time.  By using DAS, those with disabilities can more fully and comfortably experience the parks to the fullest.
