All of the hotels available through our Get Away Today link provide all the basic amenities you would need to have a comfortable stay while visiting the Anaheim area. That said, there are definitely. properties that we go back to over and over again because of their proximity to the parks, their exceptional staff, their family-friendly pools, free breakfast offerings, and other perks. Here are our current favorites:

-The Camelot Inn & Suites: This property is one of the closest and most walkable properties across from Disneyland. We love that they have been recently renovated and provide lots of space for larger families who may need to park a stroller in the room, a scooter, etc. They also have lots of storage space in the room to unpack your luggage if you’d like. They are right next to the McDonald’s, which makes for an easy late-night snack or quick breakfast in the morning. This location also offers family suites which sleep up to eight people at a time with a King Bed, a pull out sleeper couch, and an attached 2-queen room. This property is a five-minute or less walk to the parks.

-The Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance: This location is one of the more expensive options nearby the park, but it offers bunk beds as well as two queen beds in every room, and it has the best hotel water park for families in the area, with multiple slides, a splash pad area, a hot tub, a kiddie pool, and a standard swimming pool. There are also two showers in every room, which makes getting ready a breeze. This hotel is only about an 8 minute walk to the Harbor Blvd security entrance.

-The Grand Legacy at the Park: This hotel is one of the closest available properties as well, with just a five-ish minute walk to the Harbor Blvd entrance. It offers updated rooms as well as several other room types. You can request a roll-away bed as a fifth sleeper for no extra charge. The lobby has free popcorn and complimentary water each afternoon. The staff is wonderful and friendly. There is an on-site restaurant/bar open in the evenings. They also have a really fun and family-friendly pool with a zero-entry side as well as a splash pad.

-The Suncoast Hotel: This is one of our favorite places to stay when we don’t have kids with. It’s a bit more of a walk, so we mostly walk into the parks and then Uber back home at night or for afternoon breaks. We love the comfortable beds at this property, and that it has a really updated, upscale feel. The staff is very nice and friendly, and the price is very reasonable which is one of our favorite reasons to stay there! They also have an on-site bar and a great pool area.

-The Howard Johnson Anaheim: We stay at the HoJo frequently. Make sure you book one of their newly renovated rooms (buildings 1 or 2) for the best experience. They have a great pool and kiddie pool/splash pad area for families. They also have free face painting on the weekends for kids, a great gift shop and many of the rooms have a nice view of the parks or pool area. It feels safe and private. It is a bit more of a walk (maybe 10-12 minutes depending on the crosswalk lights) but we definitely enjoy staying here. If you choose to book with the HoJo, make sure to use our special corporate code for an extra discount! That code is 100002207 and will save you 15% off when you book through our link HERE.
