Magic Happens Parade Dining

Plaza Inn’s Magic Happens Parade dining package is an absolute must. This package is available by reservation, but can also sometimes be secured by walking up earlier in the day and snagging a spot from the cast members for later that day.

Cost:

$45 for Adults

$25 for Children ages 3-9

Children under 3 may enter the parade area without a voucher. When you purchase your meal they will hand you a voucher and a lanyard. The voucher is the important part as it has the date and time of your parade on it. They will not let you in to the viewing area with your lanyard alone.

The Meal:

Adult option: Short Rib and Fried Chicken with Pesto Mashed Potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a drink and dessert.

Child option: Chicken Tenders, Mashed Potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a drink and dessert.

We thought this was a very filling and tasty meal. We loved everything on our plate and left absolutely stuffed. The dessert was a graham cracker crust with a vanilla mousse filling and blueberry glaze.

Where is the reserved area and how do I get in?

Parade packages do not have chairs or benches set up, it is just a reserved area located across from the train station. We always plan to be there right when they open the viewing area to get a nice spot on the curb with our cushy butt pads that we snag from our Amazon link.

When the time arrives, you will approach the cast members at the designated viewing area. They will take your voucher and allow you access to the area. Make sure to have your credentials ready to show them so you may enter quickly to grab your spot. It is a first come first serve basis, so if you’d like a spot at the front, be there early.

Note: If the evening parade is cancelled for any reason, there are no refunds for your ticket, you are just out of luck. If it is a very rainy day, we would suggest you cancel your reservation so as to not lose the value of your package.

The parade dining packages always give you the most bang for your buck at Disneyland of all of the dining packages in our opinion. We hope you love your meal and your reserved seating area for Magic Happens!
