The Tangaroa Terrace is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at when we have a little bit of free time at the Disneyland Resort. It is located by the Disneyland Hotel so it can be a bit of a walk over to eat there if you are in the middle of a park day, but it is a great place to stop on a Downtown Disney day, or if you can take the monorail over in the evening when you are ready for a bit of a break and want to just enjoy some delicious food and relax.
Some of our favorite menu items to get at Tangaroa Terrace are the Panko-Crusted Long Beans with Togarashi Aoili, the Wagyu Hawaiian Cheeseburger, and the Tonkotsu Ramen. Our kids also enjoy the sweet potato frieds and the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl.
There is a walk-up list you can get on if you’d like to sit on the restaurant/bar side and have a server, but you can also choose to go to the walk-up service counter and order at the register and seat yourself. We usually opt for this dining option because there is less of a wait and you can refill your drink at the Coke Freestyle machine while you dine.
