Camelot Inn & Suites

1520 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92802

The Camelot Inn and Suites was the first hotel my family ever stayed at when we visited Disneyland for the very first time. We had to call and confirm with the front desk when we booked it that it really was right across the street from the parks, because it seemed just too good to be true! You really can’t find a more convenient or comfortable place to stay when visiting Disneyland.

With its castle-like facade, spacious family-friendly rooms, and a friendly neighbor called McDonald’s, your kids will absolutely love their stay at the Camelot. You truly can’t beat that five minute walk from security after a long day in the parks!

What you can expect from this hotel: Polite staff, comfortable beds, spacious rooms with lots of storage. You can request a crib at check-in but it isn’t guaranteed. (We’ve never not been able to get a crib when we needed it.) One thing to note is, if you need a “sleeper chair” in your room you’ll want to make sure that that request is noted when you book, and also call a week or so in advance and double-check that the hotel has it in their notes. Those sleeper chairs aren’t guaranteed if you have just booked a standard 2-queen room, and some families really rely on having that fifth spot, so make it a priority to confirm that your room will have one if it’s important!

As mentioned above, this hotel is literally next door to McDonald’s on Harbor Blvd, which makes for a great stop for breakfast before heading into the parks, a perfect spot to fill up water bottles before your mid-day break, and a convenient late-night snack stop after a long day in the parks. It’s a great perk to have that next door. Panera Bread and Mimi’s Cafe are also in close proximity.

Other things to note:

-Parking is available for a daily fee. I believe it’s around $22.50 for guests staying on site.

-There is an on-site gift shop with souvenirs as well as park basics.

-The front desk will store your luggage both before check-in and after check-out on the same day if you are planning to spend some time in the parks or in Downtown Disney between check out (at 11AM) and your departure time.

-There is an ART stop that makes for convenient ART Bus travel or EVE transports about a two minute walk from the lobby.

-Stroller Rentals are available from One Stop Mobility on the main floor of the hotel. This is our go-to stroller rental location, whether or not we are staying at the Camelot. So take note, and take advantage of that easy and affordable access to stroller rentals.
