Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure typically runs from early March through late April each spring. This year it will run March 1-April 22, 2024.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FESTIVAL:
During this annual festival you can taste your way through a dozen festival marketplace booths that offer an assortment of delicious treats, savory foods, and beverages! There is something for even the pickiest palate.

Another highlight is typically the temporary return of one of our favorites-- Soarin' Over California! Make sure you don't miss it!

NOTE: This event doesn’t require a separate ticket. You just need your ticket to get into Disney California Adventure and a reservation for that park. (Food tab lanyards and some special events like wine tasting opportunities do cost extra.)

WHAT KINDS OF FOOD CAN WE EXPECT?:
The "Foodie Guide" for Food and Wine Festival is available here. The booths you will see this year are:

-California Craft Brews – Cheers to a round from California’s best local breweries.

-Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo – Rally for these sliders, wings ‘n’ beer—a sports fan’s dream!

-D•Lish – Enjoy delicious sweet and savory dishes sure to delight!

-Earth Eats-Plant based foods everyone can enjoy!

-Garlic Kissed – Stop by to savor mouthwatering dishes and specialty beverages.

-Golden Dreams – Tempt taste buds with well-seasoned eats and nectarous drinks.

-LA Style – Feast on favorite southland food-truck flavors.

-Nuts About Cheese – Let us introduce you to wine’s best friends.

-Peppers Cali-Ente – Snack on hot ‘n’ spicy fare with a Cali twist!

-Uncork California – Sip vino by the glass or try a flight.

WHAT IS A SIP AND SAVOR PASS?:
The Sip and Savor Pass is a lanyard you can purchase that has either four or eight entitlements on it that can be redeemed for individual items at the booths. A lot of people ask us if this pass is "worth it," and really...it depends!

HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S WORTH IT?:

You need to add up the cost of the pass and then divide it by the number of tabs to find out the "value" of each tab. If the cost of several of the food items you'd like to try are MORE on the menu than the divided up cost of the tabs, then YES, you should buy a Sip and Savor Pass because it could save you up to a few dollars per item. If most of the items you'd like to try are LESS than that divided up number, or you don't think you care to try eight individual items, then you should just plan to purchase the items you'd like to try al a carte.

-8 Entitlement Pass (No Discount): $61--Pick items that cost MORE than $7.62 to get your value

-8 Entitlement Pass (With Discount): $56 — Pick items that cost MORE than $7 to get your value

-4 Entitlement Pass (No discount offered): $31— Pick items that cost MORE than $7.75 to get your value

IMPORTANT FINE PRINT ABOUT THE SIP AND SAVOR PASS:

-Sip and Savor Passes expire at the end of the last day of Food and Wine Festival each year, and entitlements may not be redeemed at any other event.
-Sip and Savor entitlements may be used on multiple visits over the course of the festival season.
-Valid Magic Key pass and photo ID must be shown upon purchase of the Sip and Savor Pass to receive the special price and lanyard.
-Valid Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption card and a photo ID must be shown and used to purchase the Sip and Savor Pass to receive the special price and lanyard.
-Eligible Sip and Savor Pass items at participating restaurants are tasting-size portions only, not full entrée offerings.
-Sip and Savor Pass will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or expired. Sip and Savor Passes are nonrefundable, nontransferable and may not be sold or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part. No substitutions or change will be given.
-Valid Disney California Adventure park ticket or Magic Key pass and park reservation required for park entry. Park reservations are limited, subject to availability and not guaranteed.
-Sip and Savor Pass, its entitlements, food and beverage offerings, participating marketplace locations and participating dining locations are all subject to availability, restrictions and change or cancellation without notice.

ENTERTAINMENT:
Some performances during the festival are scheduled daily (even multiple times a day). Others are only the weekends. Make sure you check the schedule for the days you plan to be there and see what entertainment offerings are available during your visit.

This show is SO fun for kids, but they only let a handful of children participate in each show. Make sure you head over to the Hollywood Backlot 45 minutes before the show and see if you can get your kids signed up for this event! They get to decorate cupcakes inspired by the Disney Jr. Show, Superkitties.

Culinary Demonstrations - 3:30, 5:00, 6:00 on Saturdays and Sundays
Located in the Hollywood Backlot, watch Disney and visiting culinary chefs demonstrate their cooking prowess.

Jammin' Chefs - 10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 2:45, 3:45, 4:45
A cute 10-ish minute show with Chip and Dale, Daisy, Clarabelle and more! Located by Paradise Bay ampitheater area.

Kids Activities

Don't forget to check out the fun arts and crafts opportunities throughout the park!  There are often tables with crayons and art projects set up in front of the Little Mermaid ride, and sometimes over in Paradise Gardens.  You can also sometimes find craft opportunities (as well as unique photo ops) over in the Hollywood Backlot by the Monster's Inc ride.
