Season of the Force is a returning event at the Disneyland Resort. This celebration will begin on April 5th and run through June 2, 2024. This will overlap with “May the 4th” as well as the Disneyland After Dark Star Wars Nites (Event nights are April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, and May 2, 7, and 9th) Tickets are still available for select nights as of today (Mar 11) you can buy them here.

Season of the Force was first introduced at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 2015, during the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The original celebration was a big success, and its return is something that has been often-requested by Star Wars fans who visit the parks. One of the best parts of the original celebration was that it marked the founding of one of our favorite overlays at the Disneyland Resort, Hyperspace Mountain, which is slated to return for this event—we can’t wait! New scenes on Star Tours: The Adventures Continue are going to start on April 5th! These new scenes will feature some of our favorite characters and settings from Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, and Andor. We are excited for this fun facelift to the ride scenes at Star Tours.

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge AKA Batuu will also be featuring a new spin on the Disneyland Fireworks. They are always visible from Galaxy’s Edge, but the information coming out of the resort is that there will be an addition of “galactic music” during the fireworks when you view them from Batuu. This will be such a great addition to Galaxy’s Edge which is usually quite quiet as the evening winds down.

We also hope this celebration means Galaxy’s Edge (as well as the rest of the park) might get some awesome food offerings (possibly even a Foodie Guide??) as well as the introduction of potential new characters to Batuu or even the Tomorrowland area of the park. You can also bet on some awesome Star Wars merchandise being available—we are hoping for some great spirit jersey choices!

Don’t forget, when planning your Star Wars: Season of the Force trip, there will be an overlap of dates between this celebration and Pixar Fest, which begins on April 26th. So if you are hoping to enjoy both springtime offerings, plan to visit between April 26th and June 2nd to experience both celebrations. As these events start getting more hype, you are going to see hotels become more scarce and park reservations book up.
